Panasonic PT-AE4000

$3,200.00 Released October, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Offers several improvements over its predecessor. Expensive - costs a lot more than a typical HDTV setup. Matte black finish - doesn't reflect any light.

The Cons:Uninspired design - not very aesthetically pleasing. Not as bright as some competing projectors.

The Panasonic PT-AE4000, an update to the PT-AE3000, is a high-end home theater projector. Like its predecessor, the PT-AE4000 features full HD, 1080p resolution and 1,600 ANSI lumens of brightness. The contrast ratio is raised from 60,000:1 to 80,000:1, and Panasonic has corrected a lens issue preventing the display of a true 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
