The HD81-LV features Texas Instruments’ DarkChip3 LVDS DMD DLP technology, which provides motion adaptive 480i, 576i, and 1080i de-interlacing as well as 10-bit image processing, advanced noise reduction and sharpening.

The Optoma HD81-LV also boasts a contrast ratio of 10000:1, with a 2500 lumen brightness, making it one of Optoma’s brightest projectors. The HD81-LV connects via HDMI, D-Sub 15pin, BNC Component, Component, S-Video, and Composite inputs as well as an RS-232 connection. Available January 2007, the Optoma HD81-LV retails at $8000.
