The HD803 features Texas Instruments’ 1080p DLP DMD chipset, which provides motion adaptive 480i, 576i, and 1080i de-interlacing as well as advanced noise reduction and sharpening.

The Optoma HD803 also features a 16-step Iris System, and boasts a contrast ratio of 8000:1 using Optoma’s Image-AI II, with a 1200 lumen brightness. At 32 dB, the HD803 is louder than Optoma’s 720P projectors. The HD803 connects via HDMI 1.3, DVI, S-Video, Composite, and Component inputs as well as an RS-232 connection. Available December 2007, the Optoma HD803 retails at $2600.
