At the heart of the HD73 is Texas Instruments’ DarkChip3 DLP technology. The HD73 produces a 1100 lumen brightness in its display, along with a 6000:1 contrast ratio in ImageAI mode. The Optoma HD73 also features a 1.2x Manual Focus/Digital Zoom on a wide angle zoom lens, and manual lens shift of 4 directions - horizontally and vertically. Available December 2006, the HD73 retails at $1300.
