The DLA-HD10 supports an aspect ratio of 16:10 (HD) and also includes 480p EDTV/ 480i SDTV support. The lens has no digital zoom and has both a short focus and long focus capacity (Short Focus is a 14x zoom lens; Long focus is a 1.9x zoom lens). The device provides a brightness output of 600 ANSI lumens and weighs a total of 13.9 lbs. The throw distance of the device image is 16.2 to 25.9 feet, and the total screen size dimensions are 60 by 180 inches. The device was designed with an exclusive digital video processor seperate from the standard definition processor to enhance HD quality resolution and output. The DLA-HD10 also features a very low fan noise topping at 27dB. The device lamp is quoted as very "cost-efficient" by JVC and provides a maximum of 2,000 hours quality viewing time. The JVC DLA-HD10 was released in February, 2006 and has since been discontinued; the device has an MSRP of $2,999.
