The Canon REALiS SX80 Mark II is a professional-grade, SXGA projector that uses Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology and an AISYS optical engine to deliver a high resolution. As a lower-end REALiS projector, the SX80 Mark II is somewhat limited by a 1.5x zoom lens (compared to 1.7x), a 3000 Lumens brightness (compared to 4000), and a 900:1 contrast ratio (compared to 1000:1).

However, unlike its immediate counterpart (SX7), the SX80 is network ready and outfitted with a plethora of connectivity options, including PC, Component, S-Video, etc. Also included is an advanced color management system with an easy-to-use GUI for adjusting the 6-axis RGBCMY wheel to fine-tune hues and saturation.
