The Canon LV8300 is a mid-grade video projector designed to provide increased mobility to users always on the go that are in need of a display. The LV8300 is a higher end model of the LV7375; and both models will be released simultaneously.

The LV8300 features a 1280 x 800 native resolution combined with a 500:1 contrast ratio to ensure a good quality picture display. With a 3000 lumens brightness the 8300 ensures a bright and fully visible picture even in the darkest of rooms. Canon claims in the official press release that the LV8300 is capable of projecting a total of 60 images from up to 1.7 meters away. Additional LV8300 features include a 1.2x lens zoom, D-Sub, RCA, and S-video inputs, and an RJ45 LAN ethernet port.
